Terms of service

This agreement is between you (the business using Factro, referred to as “you”) and Factro (Velthar Services Private Limited, registered office Chidambaram Pillai, Sisalem Main Road, Kallakurichi, Villupuram - 606202, Tamil Nadu, India, registration number U66190TN2026PTC195548), referred to as “we” or “Factro”. Factro is a hosted software service for CRM, inventory, invoicing, accounting operations and factory operations.

• You must give accurate registration details and keep them current.
• You are responsible for everything done under your account and for your users' actions.
• Keep your credentials and any store webhook URL confidential. Tell us at once if you think either has been exposed.
• Factro enforces one active device per user. Signing in elsewhere ends the previous session.
• Only an account Owner can connect a store, change billing or delete the account.

• You own everything you put into Factro and everything imported from your store.
• You grant us only the licence needed to host, process, back up and display that data so the service works, and to support you when you ask.
• We do not sell your data, share it with other customers, or use it to train models.
• You can export your data at any time while your account is active.
• How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Where Factro processes personal data about your customers, you are the controller and we are your processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect that data and for the accuracy of what you send us.

• The Shopify app and the WooCommerce plugin are free. They connect your store to a paid Factro subscription.
• Store credentials are encrypted at rest and are used only to import your orders and catalogue.
• Factro requests read-only access. It does not modify anything in your store.
• We are not responsible for a third-party platform's availability, its API changes, or data it declines to return. Where a platform limits what we can read, we say so on the relevant integration page.
• You can disconnect a store at any time; see the integration pages for how.

• New accounts get a free trial. After it ends, continued use needs a paid plan.
• Plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually. Self-service card billing currently runs in Indian Rupees; international list pricing and procurement invoices are handled by quote until multi-currency checkout is live. Current prices are shown in the app under Billing.
• Taxes are added where applicable.
• We will tell you before a price change takes effect for your account. You may cancel rather than accept it.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise.
• Non-payment may suspend access to paid features. Your data is retained during a suspension.

You agree not to:

• break the law, or use Factro to help someone else break it;
• upload data you have no right to process;
• attempt to access another customer's data, or probe, scan or overload the service;
• reverse-engineer, resell or white-label the service without our written agreement;
• send malware, or use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages.

We work to keep Factro available and back it up, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical. Support is provided by email at support@factro.in — see the support page for response targets.

Factro is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent applicable law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Factro is a record-keeping tool, not a substitute for professional advice. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your tax filings, statutory returns and accounts, and for reviewing documents before you issue them.

Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or goodwill. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

• You may cancel at any time from Billing, or by writing to us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
• We may suspend or end an account that materially breaches these terms, giving notice and a chance to fix it where the breach can be fixed.
• After termination you have 30 days to export your data, after which we may delete it — subject to statutory accounting records described in the privacy policy.

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect, and continued use afterwards means you accept them. The date at the top always reflects the current version.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Kallakurichi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
